I was born in Red Wing, Minnesota, but am a native of Sauk Rapids. Early on I knew I wanted to work in the medical field, but was unsure on what specialty to choose. This is when I suffered a blessing in disguise. I was injured playing High School sports and my parents brought me to see a local chiropractor. In fact, the very doctor I currently work with today. I was able to see first-hand the incredible benefits of chiropractic care. The more I researched this field, the more I could see the benefit and impact of chiropractic on patients' lives. I knew that I had found my calling.
I attended St. Cloud State University as an undergraduate and then Northwestern College of Chiropractic. Upon graduation in 1986 I returned to Sauk Rapids to join Spinal Rehab Clinics and the practitioner who had inspired me. Since that time I have had the unique opportunity to help literally thousands of individuals to live happier, healthier and more active lives. As a 30 year practitioner in this area I have also had the opportunity to see families grow and to watch as patients reached their goals and potential with our help.
I have been married for 32 years. My wife, Joan, is a native of Foley, a small town about 15 miles east of Sauk Rapids. Together we have two children, both boys. Michael who is now 30 and a also Chiropractor and Jonathan, 27 who is a Bio-Medical Engineer in the Twin Cities. In our free time my wife and I enjoy spending time with our families, the outdoors, as well as golf, traveling and the variety of activities that the changing seasons in Central Minnesota has to offer.
Hi, I am Dr. Chuck Thompson. I have been practicing chiropractic in the St. Cloud/Sauk Rapids area for the past 21 years. I was born and raised in the St. Cloud area and graduated from Sauk Rapids High School in 1981. I did my undergraduate studies at St. Cloud State University, attended and graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1989. My wife Stacy and I have been married for 25 years and we have three beautiful children, Trent, Madison and Carson and reside in Sartell, MN. I enjoy golfing, watching my two sons play hockey, watching my daughter perform her dance routines and coaching my oldest sons' basketball and baseball teams, as well as family vacations at the cabin.
I have always been interested in sports, both in participation and watching. At our clinic we treat numerous athletic injuries and I enjoy being a part of this health care avenue for the injured athlete. I understand how the injured athlete feels and how disappointing it is to not partake in practices and games when you are injured. It is my goal to return the injured athlete to the playing field as soon as possible without risking further injury.
Having had three children, I know how parents feel when the little ones are not feeling as well and energetic as they normally feel. Another goal for me is to restore normal function to the spinal cord and to the nervous system in an effort to return to their playful habits and give mom and dad a break from the crying and complaining that children do when they are not feeling well.
Hello, I am Dr. Tony Dungey, and I am originally from New Hampton, a small town in Northeast Iowa. I graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor's degree in Health & Human Physiology and from there completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. I knew early on that I wanted to pursue a career in healthcare, but ultimately chose chiropractic after shadowing a local chiropractor and seeing the interaction and impact he had with each of his patients. This Doctor's attitude was calm and collected, his approach was simple and effective and he was working to treat each individual on a personalized basis. The idea of offering non-invasive healthcare without the use of drugs or surgery is what really caught my attention and something that I want to carry on.
I am passionate about not only helping people get well, but more importantly, stay well! Outside of chiropractic, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, staying active, attending sporting events, spending time on the lake and most importantly cheering on the Green Bay Packers!
My name is Charles Wojciechowski and I have always had an interest in the human body especially the musculoskeletal system. The body is an amazing thing and my interests in it lead me to earn a Health and Exercise Science diploma from the Minnesota School of Business in 2006. After working in the Personal Training field I had the chance to work with a number of clients who suffered problems and injuries ranging from neck strains to plantar fasciitis and everything in between. I recently went back to school to further my education, and I graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Anoka Ramsey Community College spring of 2012. I couldn't be happier with my decision to go back to school to help people recover from any injury whether it is acute or chronic.
Other interests of mine include teaching exercise classes, running, living a healthy lifestyle and helping others live a pain free life. I currently live in Becker with my wife Ashley, a new baby girl named Finnley and an Italian Greyhound named Calvin.
Hi, my name is Jay. I am from Miami, Florida and graduated from Cortiva Institute for massage therapy in St. Petersburg FL. I have been massaging for nine years specializing in Myofascial, Neuromuscular and Acupressure massage. Massage is my passion and my calling. Most people come to me for headaches/migraines, neck and shoulder issues, lower back problems, plantar fasciitis, TMJ issues and other problem areas. I pride myself on creating a safe, healing and comfortable experience that is customized to your massage needs. Other than being a Dad, nothing brings me more joy than knowing I have helped someone's quality of life.
Hi, my name is Jesse and I am one of the Massage Therapists here at Spinal Rehab Clinics. I got my AAS degree in massage therapy at Rassmusen college in 2010. I have also helped animals get pain relief with massage. I love being able to help people and animals reduce the aches and pains they feel from everyday living. I, myself, know what it is like to get relief by getting massages.
When I am not doing massages I like to travel, see new places, go hiking, write stories, play cards with friends, watch movies, hang out with my family and even my four legged family, Tookie (cat), and 4 guinea pigs.
Hi, my name is Melissa Jensen and I was born in Central Minnesota. I graduated from Annandale High School in 2000, worked a few different jobs, and then started my employment at Spinal Rehab Clinics in 2006. I have an associate degree in business management and I really enjoy being the Office Manager at the clinic. What I enjoy most is the patients-watching them thrive and live a better life with the treatments and services we offer at our clinic. I feel very blessed and thankful to be part of a team that is passionate about helping people get well and stay well through non-invasive health care.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy time with my family. I really enjoy cooking and baking for them and staying active. I currently live in Watkins with my husband Barry, three children Calie, Westen, and Austin. I also have a whole bunch of pets including a German Shepard, Apolo, an Australian Shepard, Jax, and four cats named Bonnie, Tootie, Sheba, and Zeus. We keep very busy having fun, laughing, and growing together.
Hi there, my name is Meagan, and I have been a massage therapist for 13 years! Prior to coming to Spinal Rehab Clinics I taught massage at a local massage school for 5 years. I am able to perform a wide variety of massage techniques, but I specialize in Deep Tissue and Prenatal Massage. I understand schedules can be chaotic at times and that's why I offer massage appointments every other Saturday! In addition, I have recently completed the necessary training that allows me to treat Veterans that are referred to our clinic! When I am not massaging, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my cats.
